All articles in ALETHEIA are published Open Access. This means all articles are immediately available to read and reuse upon publication. Articles in ALETHEIA can be downloaded, shared, and reused without restriction, as long as the original authors are properly cited.

ALETHEIA publishes articles using the Gold Open Access model. Publication is funded by a fee paid at the time of acceptance, usually by an author’s institution or funder. Author(s) retain copyright of their work, with articles licensed using the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY).

Permission Requests

The ownership of articles is retained by the authors, who opt to grant permission for the reuse of the articles under an open license, such as the Creative Commons Attribution License (CC-BY). These licenses allow for both reuse and modification, with the condition that proper acknowledgment is given to the original authors. The relevant license for all articles is specified in the preliminary section of the article in formats that are comprehensible to both humans and machines.
